Grands Prix confirmed for a blockbuster season 🌍🏁
The MXGP round originally scheduled for 26 April 2026 is confirmed as cancelled. As a result, the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship calendar will now feature 19 Grands Prix and is set to deliver one of the strongest and most competitive line-ups seen in many years 🔥
The 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship is shaping up to be a global trek across four continents. Following a recent update on February 17, 2026, the calendar has been finalized with 19 rounds, after the cancellation of the event originally planned for late April.
The season kicks off in the Patagonia region of Argentina and concludes with a massive triple-header in Turkey, China, and Australia.

Key Season Highlights
- Historic Returns: The series returns to the legendary Foxhill circuit in Great Britain for the first time in 26 years. Additionally, South Africa returns to the schedule after an 18-year hiatus.
- The Season Finale: For the first time, the championship will conclude in Darwin, Australia, marking a significant expansion into the Oceanic region.
- The Big One: The prestigious Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) is scheduled for October 4, 2026, at the iconic Ernée circuit in France.
Note: The MX2 class (250cc) competes at all the same dates and venues listed above alongside the premier MXGP class (450cc).

The WMX and EMX support classes have a more condensed schedule, focusing primarily on the European legs of the tour (with WMX making a special trip to Australia for the finale).
The 2026 EMX classes feature 12 rounds for EMX250 and 10 rounds for EMX125, while the WMX World Championship will be contested over 5 rounds.

The European classes are the primary breeding ground for future MXGP stars. Note that Montevarchi (Italy) has been designated as a specialized round specifically for the EMX250 class this year.
