The 24H Vélo de Neufchâteau is a major endurance cycling event and community festival held in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. It’s essentially the “Le Mans” of cycling for the region, combining serious athletic competition with a massive party atmosphere.
📅 2026 Event Schedule
The upcoming event is scheduled for the Ascension weekend:
- Friday, May 22: Official launch and bib collection.
- Saturday, May 23 (17:00): The Grand Départ. Solo riders and teams begin their 24-hour journey.
- Sunday, May 24 (17:00): The finish line, followed by the awards ceremony and a large closing party with a DJ.
- Monday, May 25: “Place aux jeunes” – a youth-focused race organized by CC Chevigny.
🚲 The Challenge
- The Circuit: A 3.8 km (approx. 2.4 mile) loop that is both technical and demanding, featuring roughly 42 meters of elevation gain per lap.
- Categories: You can enter as a Solo rider, or in teams of 2, 4, or 8 participants.
- Atmosphere: While the top teams (like the 2025 winners NovicePro) rack up over 800 km, many participants join for the “festive” side, which includes a large marquee, food stalls, and music that runs throughout the night.
📝 Practical Info for 2026
