Key Highlights for the Season
World Championships: While not part of the World Cup standings, the 2027 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships are scheduled to take place in Ostend, Belgium, from January 29–31, 2027.
A Unique Start: The season kicks off with a rare Friday evening race in Ostrava, followed immediately by the classic Tábor circuit on Sunday.
New & Returning Venues: Hamme joins the World Cup circuit, effectively replacing Maasmechelen. Besançon also returns to the schedule during the high-intensity “Kerstperiode” (Christmas period).
The “TBC” Slot: The December 13th slot is currently reserved for a location outside the Benelux region. There is speculation about a return to a Southern European venue, though the UCI has yet to confirm the city.
