The Fédération Luxembourgeoise d’Athlétisme (FLA), or Luxembourg Athletics Federation, was founded on November 11, 1928.
It replaced its predecessor, the Fédération des Sociétés Luxembourgeoises des Sports Athlétiques (FSLSA).
The FLA is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Luxembourg.
It is affiliated with both the global body, World Athletics (formerly the International Association of Athletics Federations, since 1952), and the European Athletic Association.
A notable figure in its history is Josy Barthel, a former Olympic champion, who served as president from 1962 to 1972.
