While the U19 team competes at home, the U17 Women’s National Team (the “U17 Léiwinne”) travels to North Macedonia for their UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship Round 2 (League B, Group B2) campaign.
## The Program (Group B2 Fixtures)
The tournament follows a mini-tournament format held at the Goran Pandev Training Complex in Strumica.
| Date | Time (CET) | Match |
| Saturday, 28 Feb | 12:00 | Luxembourg vs. Northern Ireland |
| Tuesday, 03 Mar | 12:00 | North Macedonia vs. Luxembourg |
| Friday, 06 Mar | 12:00 | Georgia vs. Luxembourg |
## The Target: Promotion & Progress
The U17 team finds themselves in a competitive League B group with clear objectives:
- Primary Target: Promotion to League A. To be promoted for the 2026/27 season, Luxembourg must finish as the group winner. Additionally, the best runner-up across all six League B groups will also earn promotion.
- The Northern Ireland Challenge: Their opening match is particularly interesting because Northern Ireland is the host of the 2026 Final Tournament. While they are already qualified for the finals as hosts, they still participate in these rounds to stay competitive, making them the “team to beat” in this group.
- Development: After a tough Round 1 where they finished behind Turkey, the goal for coach and team is to show clinical finishing and defensive stability against well-organized sides like Georgia and the hosts, North Macedonia.
## Key Players to Watch
Look out for players who have already gained experience in these qualifiers, such as Pietrasik David (Goalkeeper) and the midfield presence of Morais Thill, who often handles set-piece duties for the team.
