Luxembourg is hosting the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship Round 2 (League B, Group B4) from February 27 to March 5, 2026. This mini-tournament is a crucial stage for the young “Red Lionesses.”
## The Program (Group B4 Fixtures)
All matches for this group will take place in Luxembourg. The hosts will compete against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, and Belarus.
| Date | Time | Match | Venue |
| Friday, 27 Feb | 10:00 | Bosnia & Herzegovina vs. Luxembourg | Stade Albert Berchem, Kehlen |
| Monday, 02 Mar | 10:00 | Luxembourg vs. Armenia | TBC (Local Stadium) |
| Thursday, 05 Mar | 10:00 | Luxembourg vs. Belarus | Op Biirk, Mensdorf |
## The Target: Promotion to League A
Because Luxembourg is currently in League B, they cannot qualify directly for the 2026 Final Tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina during this round. Instead, their objectives are strategic for the next season:
- Primary Target: Promotion to League A. The team needs to finish as the Group Winner (or be the best runner-up across all League B groups) to be promoted.
- Why it matters: Being in League A for the next edition of the tournament (Round 1 of the 2026/27 cycle) allows the team to compete against higher-ranked nations and provides a direct path to qualify for future European Championships.
- Home Advantage: Playing on home soil, the FLF (Luxembourg Football Federation) aims to build on recent progress in women’s youth football and secure a top-spot finish to demonstrate they belong among the elite European tiers.
## Current Form
Luxembourg enters this round with some momentum from late 2025, having secured a dominant 4-0 win over Liechtenstein and a 3-0 win over Albania in Round 1, though they did face a setback against Slovakia (0-3).
