World Lacrosse Championships Overview
World Lacrosse governs several international championship tournaments held every four years across field lacrosse, box lacrosse, and Sixes.

- 2026 Women’s World Championship (Tokyo, Japan)
- Dates: July 24 – August 2, 2026
- Gold Medal Match: USA defeated Canada 16–4 to secure their 5th consecutive gold medal (and 10th title overall).
- Bronze Medal Match: Israel defeated Haudenosaunee 7–4.
- 2027 Men’s World Championship (Tokyo, Japan)
