The Luxembourgish National Championships – XCO took place in Esch / Alzette, Luxembourg.
The official program featured the National Championship (CN) titles for the Cross-country Olympic (XCO) discipline across the following major categories:
🚴♂️ Men’s Categories
- Men Elite – Cross-country Olympic
- Men Under 23 (U23) – Cross-country Olympic
- Men Junior – Cross-country Olympic
🚴♀️ Women’s Categories
- Women Elite – Cross-country Olympic
- Women Under 23 (U23) – Cross-country Olympic
- Women Junior – Cross-country Olympic
Note: These races are registered under the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) calendar as National Championship events, where riders compete for the distinctive national jersey.
While the International Cycling Union (UCI) only officially tracks and publishes results for the Junior (U19), U23, and Elite categories on their global calendar, National Championships in Luxembourg are massive community events that include younger talent.
The FSCL (Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois) includes national title races and youth development categories on the local schedule:
- Débutants (U17): For young male and female riders taking their first major steps into competitive national racing.
- Minimes (U15): A highly competitive youth category focused on skills and endurance.
- Benjamins / Bambinis (U13, U11, and younger): Usually run alongside the event as non-championship promotional or youth trophy races to get the youngest riders involved.
